How we see it
We take copyright seriously. MP3Skull keeps no audio, video or image files: the videos stay on YouTube and the converter belongs to another company. Even so, if a page of ours leads to material that infringes your rights, tell us and we will act on a valid notice.
Sending a notice
Email [email protected] with the subject "Copyright notice". Please put these items in the message:
- Your name, postal address, phone number and email.
- The work you own, or represent, that you say is being infringed.
- The exact web address(es) on MP3Skull that you want checked.
- A sentence saying you honestly believe the use is not allowed by the owner, by its agent or by law.
- A sentence saying the notice is correct and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or may act for the owner.
- Your signature, handwritten or typed.
What we do
Complete notices are read quickly. If the claim is well founded we remove or block the page or link and let the other side know. Because the files are kept by other companies, it also helps to send your notice to the service that hosts them.
If a removal was a mistake
You can answer with a counter-notice that gives your contact details, says where the material used to be, states under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by error, and carries your signature. We may put the material back unless the person who complained tells us they have gone to court.
Repeat offenders
People who infringe again and again can lose access to the site.
