About MP3Skull
What this site is
MP3Skull is a simple music finder. Open the home page and you get the list of the most downloaded songs right now, one under the other, numbered from the top. Pick a title and you land on its own page, where you can watch the video and turn it into an MP3 file.
How to use it
- Look at the Top Downloads list on the home page, or type a song or an artist in the search box at the top.
- Click a title to open the song page.
- Press play to watch the video, or use the converter under it to save the audio.
- The Now Playing list on the right is a shuffled sample of other songs that people are listening to.
Where the songs come from
The list is rebuilt every day from public streaming charts of English-speaking countries, so the order changes as new songs climb. Each song is matched to its official video on YouTube. Songs that leave the list keep their page, so a link you bookmarked will still work next month.
Who is behind it
MP3Skull is run independently. It has no connection with any streaming service, with YouTube or Google, or with any artist, label or publisher, and it does not claim to speak for them. Their names, music and trademarks belong to them.
